So it was the last day sob :( we hadn't even been for breakfast so we asked some of the others and they reccomended Town House. I had the fruit waffles but they were a little disspaointing and quite dry, I lethered them in syrup which seemed to do the trick.
We stayed fairly local, in order to do the last few bits we hadn't done. We firstly headed towards Macy's and on the way we stopped at a souvenir shop. I bought a shot glass for my friend, a couple of statue of liberty crowns and the beloved I Heart New York T-Shirts.
Macy's
Macy's
Again it was described by others as another Debenhams! I beg to differ, the largest department store in the world, accessible to every one of all ages, gender, wealth and race. Rianna and I had both been looking for a new handbag all week but had failed to find one we liked. We both had a fair bit of spending money left and said we had hoped for a bag but if we saw something nice we would buy it. We went to collect our 10% cards in case we found something, it was great you got 10% off just for being on holiday!!
As we pondered around the bags we still couldn't find any we liked. We walked over to the watches department whereabouts Rianna found one she liked a beautiful fossil one, almost leopard print but not. We had a good look around I was in awe over the old fashioned alscolaters, which were wooden and had clearly been there years. They were slightly scary as they made an unhealthy noise when you were on them
we were finished I was disappointed I thought I might have found something. We were waiting by the front for the others and so I started to ponder around the Michael Kors section. I love his designs they're so classic, yet some have real eccentric detailing on them. I fell in love with this tan beauty of a bag perfect in size not too big nor small, it was a lovely shape worn over the arm or in hand. Like everything I examined the price. I did sums in my head realizing I had enough left over spending money to actually buy this bag. After much pondering and thinking I purchased my first designer bag!!

I was let down by the window display. It reads window in progess, for me window merchandising is one of the key elements in amking a brand/store, and it was dissapointing to see a blank window.
Search for Maccies Continues
We took to 5th avenue one last time and Rianna, Roxi, Channola and I were getting hungry. McDonalds it was, but could we find one NO!! We walked and walked in desperation of McDonalds passing Delis and restaurants, just wouldn't do, worst came to worse and we stopped and asked for directions. We must have walked 5 blocks before finding one but it was worth it!!
Building Libby
One of my highlights was build a bear, Channola had yet to buy a gift for her younger sister, we went to build a bear and created a bear complete with a statue of liberty costume, voice which said 'I love New York' in a new York accent, ribbons and bows, and a complete birth certificate. It was so much fun the naming ceremony, giving it a wash, dressing it, not to mention stuffing it!
Duane Reade
Or Duane and Reade as Roxi likes to call it, we were heading back and took one last visit to stock up on peanut butter m&m's lucky charms and goodies for the airport.
